Dr Kyriaki Evangelatou Consultant Paediatric Ophthalmologist.

She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Crete in 1994. She trained (residency) in
Ophthalmology in the UK (Coventry & Warwickshire University Hospitals, Ashford & St Peter’s Hospitals,
James Paget Hospital). She trained in Paediatric Ophthalmology at the Birmingham Childrens Hospital.
She passed the Greek and the UK postgraduate exams in Ophthalmology, in 2006.
She has a vast experience in examining, diagnosing and managing children with syndromes, premature
babies and screening for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP), and children with all kinds of ocular
diseases, including cancer. She has a special interest in treating amblyopia, myopia management and
strabismus surgery.
